Mental Health Services in Chandler
Over 2.5 million Arizonans live in communities without an adequate amount of mental health professionals. Our family opened Lifeline Behavioral Health over 20 years ago to combat statistics like these and bring behavioral health treatment to families just like yours – and everyone in your family is welcome. We offer treatment to everyone, whether they’re 1 year old or 100 years old.
We recognize that everyone is different, and we don’t only tailor treatment to those differences – we celebrate them. We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive, compassionate environment where people can heal from mental health conditions, trauma, and other behavioral health concerns. We’d love to show you what we’re all about.

Why Choose Lifeline Behavioral Health
At Lifeline Behavioral Health, we believe in the beauty of diversity. That doesn’t just extend to who we welcome at our center, though that’s certainly part of it. We also embody it in the treatment we offer. Our wide range of evidence-based therapies covers a multitude of topics to address any behavioral health concern you have comprehensively. Our skilled medical team is well-equipped to treat even the most complex cases.
Our goal is to bring compassionate, respectful, accessible care to anyone in Arizona who may need it. With that in mind, we also offer telehealth options to eliminate barriers like transportation or time constraints that might otherwise prevent someone from receiving care.
Our Mental Health Treatment Programs
We offer a vast range of programs, therapy, and chandler mental health services for every age group and behavioral health concern.
Lifeline Behavioral Health can treat children before they’re even a year old, working to heal any trauma young children might experience so they can grow into healthy adolescents and adults. We also offer unique counseling groups for each age group, including preteens, teenagers, and young adults to ensure youth receive the support they need through every stage of life.
We also provide services courts may order individuals to participate in, like anger management classes or substance use counseling. At Lifeline Behavioral Health, we don’t judge. We’re here to help you build a better, healthier life.
Our therapists are equipped to assist with any behavioral health concerns you may have in our counseling. We offer individual, family, and group therapy, and will teach you how to restructure unhealthy thought patterns, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and gain new skills that will improve your life.
We have multiple therapy groups focusing on different topics. For adults, these include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), a women’s wellness group, a men’s manspeak group, a group to prevent individuals in recovery from returning to substance use, a parenting group, a group for veterans and first responders, and a health anxiety group. Adolescents have their own groups, covering DBT, teen empowerment, cognitive skills, and general mental health. We also have an intensive outpatient program dedicated solely to teens.
Our general intensive outpatient program (IOP) lasts for eight weeks and allows our clients to participate in one individual counseling session and three different groups each week. There is also a four-week option available, but these timelines aren’t set in stone. If you need additional care, we’ll happily provide it and work with you to find a treatment plan that’s right for you.
Lifeline Behavioral Health’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an option for anyone seeking a more intensive approach to care. PHP involves comprehensive therapy and counseling during the day while returning home at night. If you think you would benefit from being away from your home environment, we also offer a PHP option with housing, where you’ll have access to our expert clinicians 24/7.

What to do for mental health issues?
The best thing to do if you have a mental health concern is to seek treatment for it.
Do mental health services actually help?
Yes. There is a wealth of scientific evidence showing the effectiveness of mental health treatment, and the majority of people who seek mental health care find it helpful.
Does your mental health clinic accept insurance?
Lifeline Behavioral Health accepts many insurance policies, including Medicaid. Feel free to give us a call, and we’ll verify your insurance coverage. We can also work with you if you are out-of-network or don’t have insurance.
