Evidence-Based Mental Health Services in Avondale
Our family started Lifeline Behavioral Health more than 20 years ago to provide quality, customized counseling to people in need. After all this time, our mission has not changed. If anything, it has only continued to grow with every child, teen, adult, and family who has trusted us with their care.
We believe you deserve support that is compassionate, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. Our experienced team is here to help address a wide range of mental and behavioral health concerns with care that reflects your needs, your experiences, and your goals.
Your life and experiences are valuable. We want you to believe that, both during your time with us at Lifeline Behavioral Health and in every area of your life.

Why Choose Lifeline Behavioral Health?
We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and dedication to people from all walks of life. Our Avondale mental health services are not limited by age group, gender, sexuality, criminal record, or life history.
We also treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, grief, stress-related challenges, and more complex cases.
Evidence-based, compassionate counseling and therapy are available for everyone at Lifeline Behavioral Health. Everyone deserves the chance to heal, and we offer the safe, respectful environment needed to begin that process and support it over time.
One of the features that makes our care more accessible is our telehealth and hybrid programming, which allows us to support individuals across Arizona, not just in Avondale.
Our Mental Health Treatment Programs
We offer treatment for all ages, starting with children who aren’t even a year old. We have specialized treatment for preteens, adolescents, young adults, and older adults. We also work with local court systems to provide services they might order, such as anger management and substance use counseling.
Our intensive outpatient (IOP) program allows you to choose three different therapy groups for the week and also provides one individual therapy session per week. This program traditionally lasts for eight weeks, with a shorter four-week option available. If you need additional care once your program is complete, we’ll happily help with that, too.
Lifeline Behavioral Health also offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP). In it, you will receive care at our facility all day, then return home at night. It’s a great option if you want more intensive, structured treatment. Our PHP program also offers housing on-site, for individuals whose home environments aren’t as conducive to their recovery, or who want access to our supportive staff around the clock.

FAQs
Which symptoms indicate that someone may need mental health treatment?
Mental health covers a broad spectrum, from feelings of persistently low mood and anxiety to hyperactivity and hallucinations, and countless symptoms in between. Are your mental health symptoms negatively impacting your quality of life? If the answer is yes, it’s worth seeking treatment.
What mental health services do you offer in Avondale?
Lifeline Behavioral Health offers a range of mental health services in Avondale for children, teens, adults, and families. Services include individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and structured treatment options when additional support is needed. Care is flexible and can adjust over time, allowing individuals to receive the level of support that fits their needs.
Do you provide therapy for children, teens, adults, and families?
Yes. We work with children, teens, adults, and families, with care tailored to each stage of life. Some individuals may need help with emotional regulation, behavior, school-related stress, or family dynamics, while others are navigating anxiety, depression, or life changes. Treatment is designed to feel relevant, practical, and supportive for each person.
Can therapy help with stress, life transitions, and family challenges?
Yes. Many people seek therapy not just for a diagnosis, but because they are going through a difficult period in life. This may include major transitions, relationship changes, family stress, work-related pressure, or feeling overwhelmed by daily responsibilities. Therapy can help you process what is happening, develop healthier coping strategies, and create a clearer path forward.
How do I know which type of mental health treatment is right for me?
The right type of treatment depends on your symptoms, daily responsibilities, support system, and goals. Some people benefit from ongoing therapy, while others may need more structured support for a period of time. Our team works with you to understand your situation and recommend a level of care that feels both manageable and effective.
Do you offer telehealth therapy appointments?
Yes. Lifeline Behavioral Health offers telehealth therapy for individuals who need a more flexible way to access care. Telehealth can make it easier to stay consistent with treatment, especially for those balancing work, family responsibilities, or transportation challenges. In-person and hybrid options are also available depending on your needs.
