Mental Health Services in Glendale
Finding the right mental healthcare isn’t easy. In some regards, you have a multitude of options – a quick search online comes up with dozens of mental health centers vying for your attention. When you take a closer look, however, that care often isn’t as accessible as it looks, and if it is, how do you know if you can trust them with your behavioral healthcare?
Our family founded Lifeline Behavioral Health over 20 years ago, with the mission of providing evidence-based counseling, tailored to every client’s individual needs. We wanted to create a safe space for anyone to grow and heal, and all these years later, that is still our goal.
Just like we aim to inspire our clients to conquer challenges and overcome obstacles, our clients inspire us to become better at what we do every single day. We believe we’re better now than ever, and we want to help you become the best version of yourself, too.

Why Choose Lifeline Behavioral Health
At Lifeline Behavioral Health, there’s no limit to who we can help. We offer specialized treatment for people of all ages, from under 1 year old to over 100. Our team is kind and exceptionally skilled, able to assist with the most complex mental health conditions and the most sensitive matters. Lifeline Behavioral Health is a safe space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to explore their identities and for veterans and first responders to heal from the unique trauma they’ve faced. It’s a place for victims of domestic violence to recover, and for perpetrators of domestic violence to have a fair shot at getting better themselves. We offer a judgment-free environment for everyone to seek the comprehensive behavioral healthcare they deserve.Â
We’re serious about reaching everyone, too. Telehealth options are available to increase access to care for individuals all across Arizona, not just in Glendale.
How Lifeline Approaches Mental Health Treatment
Lifeline Behavioral Health is serious about providing quality care for anyone and everyone who comes to us. That means offering a variety of services so everyone can find a program that empowers them to recover from whatever behavioral health concern they’re living with.
Counseling is at the core of what we do. Individual, family, and group counseling options are all available, with our skilled therapists at your disposal. You’ll learn how to restructure your thoughts, find ways to healthily cope with and manage your emotions, and build skills that will assist you for the rest of your life.
Sometimes, that starts before our clients are even a year old. We can detect and address early childhood trauma, as well as treat conditions like ADHD in toddlers and children. We also offer unique group counseling for older youth, including preteens, teens, and young adults. All of these age groups face different challenges as they grow into healthy adults, so we provide space for them to face and overcome those with like-minded peers.Â
We also work closely with state courts to ensure we can deliver services aligning with their requirements. If you recently received a DUI and need counseling related to your alcohol use, you can find it here. The same is true for anyone seeking anger management classes. At Lifeline Behavioral Health, we don’t judge. We want to help you get back on track.
You also have multiple options for therapy groups, all focusing on different topics. Our adult groups include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), a women’s wellness group, a men’s group, a group for those in recovery from substance use disorders, a parenting group, a group for veterans and first responders, and a health anxiety group. Teens also have their own groups, focusing on DBT, teen empowerment, cognitive skills, and general mental health.
A Look at Our Program Options
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are an option for both teens and adults, and they’re separated by age group. Clients can pick three therapy groups to participate in per week, and will also attend one individual therapy session per week. IOP typically lasts for eight weeks or four weeks, but just like treatment is customized to you – this timeline can be, too. We’re here to help you get better, not to get you in and out the door.
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) might work best for individuals who would benefit from care all day. This is our most intensive program, consisting of in-depth therapy and counseling for most of the day, while you’ll go home at night. We also offer onsite housing if it would be safer or more convenient for you to live outside of your regular environment during treatment. Our staff will be on standby around the clock if you need assistance.
